Abderrahman Kantos

Ph.D. Student, Electrical and Computer Engineering

Free-space optical communications quantum computing Quantum information theory

Abderrahman Kantos is currectly a Ph.D. student in the Communication Theory Lab (CTL) under the supervision of Professor Mohamed-Slim Alouini at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST). Education and Early Career Before beginning his doctoral studies, Abderrahman completed an internship at RTE (Réseau de Transport d’Électricité), working on quantum computing and the development of quantum algorithms. At École Polytechnique, he participated in the Projet Scientifique Collectif (PSC). His team ranked among the top 10 out of more than 100 teams, under the project title

PDEs Schrödinger equation quantum simulation quantum computing

This lecture presents a systematic framework for developing quantum simulation algorithms for general differential equations, using dimension lifting to transform nonlinear and time-dependent problems into forms solvable by simulating the Schrödinger equation.
